LFG IMPACT CAMPAIGN

From the start, we knew the work of LFG had to go beyond the film. So, together with our production partner Everywoman Studios, we are honored to partner with Procter & Gamble (P&G) and it’s Always and Secret Brands to launch a multi-faceted impact initiative inspired by LFG that focuses on gender equity in sports and beyond.

Jessica McDonald, USWNT star and World Cup champion, featured prominently in LFG, serves as our impact campaign’s ambassador. Now the LFG impact campaign, #WhenWeValueWomen is up and running.

LFG and our Impact Campaign has inspired countless stories including South Carolina Gamecocks’ head coach, Dawn Staley, who credits the film for inspiring her to negotiate a 7-year, $22.4 million contract making her one of the highest-paid coaches in women’s sports. After watching LFG, Title Nine founder, Missy Park, was so “ticked off” she wrote the biggest check of her company’s history ($1 million), which went directly to the players through their players association.

Though the USWNT settled their equal pay lawsuit with US Soccer in February of 2022, the work is far from over. We are proud to have helped the players bring their story to light. LFG helped move the needle towards the players’ settlement agreement which reminds us that telling these important stories is how we make an impact. But the historic USWNT and USSF settlement is just the beginning of the pursuit for pay and play equity. We strive for a world #WhenWeValueWomen — one in which we expose inequality, equal pay and equal play are secure, and we commit to making real progress on and off the playing field.
